The Elodea has now formed a strong foothold in the pond and has provided a spawning medium for the rudd.  The fry are now showing themselves.  The mirror carp are keeping the blanket weed down and are reaching out of the pond in an effort to eat it.  They are now about a foot long, not bad for two year olds.
