It is now 1 year since I started building the pond.

The plants are becoming established at different rates.  The typha Angustifolia are sending up new shoots every other day and are filling the corner (centre screen) very well.  The two dead looking plants (centre right) are brass buttons, and the pond is covered in their tiny seeds.  I have allowed the grass to grow around the pond as a hiding place for the young frogs  which are now leaving the pond.
